Big Weekend at the inaugural Moonpay X Games League Sacramento: Celebrating the Success of Our Visa Clients

One of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Action Sports Law Group is watching our clients achieve their goals after months of hard work behind the scenes.

Most people see the podium photos, the medals, and the highlight reels. What they don't see are the visa applications, the evidence packets, the contracts, the recommendation letters, the deadlines, and sometimes the last-minute efforts required just to get an athlete to the starting line.

This past weekend at X Games, several of our clients put on incredible performances, earning medals against some of the best athletes in the world. We couldn't be more proud of what they accomplished. We had over a dozen athletes competing and several ended with medals, propelling their club teams to new heights.

Arisa Trew Continues to Make History

Australian skateboarding phenom Arisa Trew once again showed why she is one of the most dominant athletes in action sports today.

Arisa captured Gold in Women's Skateboard Park and followed it up with another Gold in Women's Skateboard Vert Best Trick, proving her versatility across multiple disciplines.

Watching athletes perform at this level is always impressive. Watching a client do it after navigating the complexities of international competition and U.S. immigration is even more special.

Miharu Ozawa Takes Gold in Women's BMX Park

Japan's Miharu Ozawa delivered one of the standout performances of the weekend, earning Gold in Women's BMX Park with an incredible score of 95.33.

Miharu has worked tirelessly to establish herself as one of the world's top BMX athletes, and this result was a testament to the dedication, talent, and perseverance that brought her to this stage.

We're thrilled to see her continue building momentum on the international circuit.

Egoitz Bijueska Earns Silver in Men's Skateboard Park

Spain's Egoitz Bijueska added another major accomplishment to his already impressive resume with a Silver Medal in Men's Skateboard Park.

At only 15 years old Egoitz has quickly become one of the most exciting skateboarders in the world, and seeing him stand on his first X Games podium was incredible. We have no doubt this is only the beginning.

Liz Akama Brings Home Bronze

Japanese skateboarder Liz Akama earned a Bronze Medal in Women's Skateboard Street for XC Los Angeles, continuing her rise among the elite street skateboarders in the world.

Liz's consistency, technical ability, and competitive mindset have made her one of the most respected athletes in women's street skateboarding, and we're excited to see what comes next.

Ibuki Matsumoto Lands on the Podium

Another member of Japan's incredibly talented skateboarding contingent, Ibuki Matsumoto earned Bronze in Women's Skateboard Street Best Trick skating for XC Sao Paulo.

Competing at the highest level requires more than talent. It requires resilience, preparation, and the ability to perform under pressure when it matters most. Ibuki demonstrated all of those qualities throughout the weekend.

Brandon Loupos Adds Another X Games Medal

Longtime ASLG visa client and industry veteran, Australian BMX rider Brandon Loupos earned Bronze in Men's BMX Dirt Best Trick, adding yet another major result to an already distinguished career.

Brandon has long been recognized as one of the sport's most innovative riders, and it was exciting to see him once again standing on the X Games podium.

More Than Medals

While we're always excited to celebrate podium finishes, success isn't measured only by medals.

Many of our clients traveled from around the world to compete, represent their countries, showcase their talents, and pursue opportunities that simply wouldn't be possible without the ability to legally work and perform in the United States.

Helping athletes, artists, and entertainers achieve those opportunities is why we do what we do.

Congratulations to all of our clients who competed at X Games this weekend. Whether you left with a medal, a personal best, or simply the experience of competing against the best in the world, we're honored to be part of your journey.

We can't wait to see what happens at X Games Chiba next weekend!
